SafetyGate EU Issues Warnings: Dangerous Non-Food Products Recalled in September 2024

In September 2024, SafetyGate AB, the rapid alert system for hazardous non-food products, identified a number of safety concerns that led to the recall of several products from the market. This system, responsible for monitoring personal protective equipment (PPE), clothing textiles and fashion products, highlighted significant risks related to chemical hazards, injuries and asphyxiation. These warnings underscore the ongoing importance of complying with strict safety regulations and standards.

The recalled products include children’s clothing, footwear and accessories, many of which do not comply with Europe’s key safety regulations. This recall is part of SafetyGate AB’s role to protect consumers from products that pose serious health and safety risks.
