Ankara – USB Certification sponsored the **”Turkey and Europe Conference & Workshop on Personal Protective Equipment Axis “** held on 14-15 January 2026 in cooperation with the Turkish Occupational Safety Businessmen Association (TIGIAD) and European Safety Federation (ESF) and was present at the organization with its expert staff.
The event started with a historical program specially organized for the 26th anniversary of TİGİAD. On January 14th, the USB Certification delegation, together with industry representatives, first visited Anıtkabir and stood in the presence of Ata. Then, the 1st Turkish Grand National Assembly (War of Independence Museum) and the 2nd Turkish Grand National Assembly (Republic Museum) buildings, which witnessed the establishment of our Republic, were visited. Coming together in this historical atmosphere, sector stakeholders gave a strong message of unity in the field of occupational health and safety.
Product Safety and Inspection continued on January 15 at the General Directorate of Forestry Campus, where critical issues for the future of the sector were discussed. In the conference sessions; product safety inspections in imports, surveillance of products supplied to the market through e-commerce and global trends in the PPE sector were examined in depth.
In the workshop held in the second part of the organization, USB Certification executives contributed to the tables with their technical knowledge:
- Our Technical and Assurance Director Emre Metin took part in the “PPE End Users Table” and shared his experiences on correct product use and user safety in the field.
- Our Laboratory and Notified Body Manager Z. Yeşim Eryılmaz and Industrial Services Quality Manager Göksu Özyeşilova took part in the “PPE Suppliers Table”. Our executives conveyed our organization’s vision on maintaining quality standards in the supply chain and testing processes.
